Installing from the command line
- hdiutil attach file.dmg
- cd /Volumes/mount/
- sudo installer -pkg install.pkg -target "/"
Compiling mythtv
At the time of writing the current (14660) revision of mythtv does not build for Mac OS X. The most recent working build is 14650. To build this:
- Ensure you don't have xmms or xmms-shlibs installed via fink/apt-get
- svn co -r 14650 http://svn.mythtv.org/svn/trunk
- mv trunk mythtv-14650
- cd mythtv-14650/mythtv/contrib/OSX/
- ./osx-packager.pl -svnrev 14650
